Little Cookie Studio’s popular cookie decorating classes are a great way to learn the basics of cookie decorating, or just to have fun together with your favorite people!
IN OUR COOKIE CLASSES WE OFFER:
Our sugar cookie decorating classes are perfect for beginners with no prior experience, interested in learning a new hobby or if you want to improve your skills. Children (ages 8+) are welcome to join the classes but must be accompanied by an adult with a paid ticket.
In our class we will demonstrate how royal icing is mixed and you will learn how to ice cookies with royal icing using various techniques such as flooding, wet on wet work, and layers. Classes last around 2 – 4 hours, and we ice 6 rady baked cookies during the class.
What you can expect to learn:
- Royal Icing demonstration: We show you how to make royal icing from scratch and bag it.
- Outlining: Learn the technique of creating a border around the cookie with icing. (Including using a practice sheet)
- Flooding: Learn to fill cookies with icing smoothly and evenly.
- Wet-on-Wet: Explore the technique of applying wet icing on wet icing for creating soft, blended designs.
- Layers: Learn how to layer up with royal icing.
In some other classes we include:
- Royal Icing Transfers: Learn to create and apply royal icing transfers for intricate designs.
- Stenciling: Learn how to use stencils to create designs on your cookies.

Class materials and tools to use will be provided to use in class only.
